My GaWaI, 2010 :)

A Moment 2 Remember...

The above date shows the day that I can hardly forget until today. I gotta admit that it had me smiling all day :)

June 2, 2010 (Wednesday)

Obviously it was the night I had spent my precious moments with 'Bie' at Kampung Jenan (Theresa's village). At first, we mixed among Theresa and her gangs at her aunt's house while waiting for the lucky draw ticket number to be drawn out. Theresa's village style of celebrating Gawai is totally different than mine. They had it at the 'balai raya' which is located not far from Theresa's grandparents' house where as mine, we do it at the 'awah Gawai' (that has been set up in front of the long houses) where long houses gets their turn each year. Gilim helped him with the tickets while he was trying to keep me company so I would not feel alone. We exchanged topics about our pasts, school, life etc. It was then half past 11 when it started raining dogs and cats. Without delay, we ran to look for shelter. There was this swing outside Theresa's aunty's porch and sat there before Theresa came to sit next to me. A few minutes later, she went off with Gilim and the rest to the 'balai raya' 'coz the lucky draw ticket event wasn't over yet. Again, I was left alone with him as he went to sit beside me. We continued with our topic of the day 'Vows and Loyalty'. He made too many promises till I couldn't recall it. I also taught him how to play the calculator game 'Flamingo'. He beaten me thrice! *sobs* He swung the swing with his feet as we went on chit-chatting. He leaned on my shoulder several times before Gilim and Theresa went over to invite us to 'joget' as it was nearly 2 am in the morning.

June 3rd, 2010 (Thursday)

We dragged ourselves lazily to the house since our eyes were too heavy to open any wider. All we did was sitting at the couch and mingled softly so that it would not wake her grandpa up. The morning was getting colder and colder as the clock strucked 3 am in the morning. I was shivering okay! We played Flamingo again and this time, I've won! I did messed up with his hair while he was resting. Not to say once but most of the time 'coz the hair is so darn EXTRA SUPER SOFT & SILKY! *LoL* Grandma made us Milo drink before going to bed. She was not feeling so well. Pity her though. Theresa and the gangs got home right after the celebration was over. Gilim was kinda busy with things so 'Bie' had no choice but to sleep at Theresa's house*

The minute I woke up, I thought about him. Thinking that he will still be asleep in the living room with, Patrick or maybe went over to Gilim's for a nice and comfy bed?? I was definately anxious to see him by then. We, the girls went down to return the pillows and matress downstairs. Guess what? He was still asleep. I intended to lie beside him to messed with his hair again but nah- Went outside at the 'tanjuk' to hang out with Gilim as 'Bie' tagged along. After breakfast, we went to shower. Dean, Theresa's cousin came for visiting. Then in the afternoon, Gilim brought 'Bie', me and Theresa for field trip. It was exciting and tiring at the same time 'coz ya...insufficient sleep. Took a short nap from 4 pm till 5 pm. Just before I was about to leave, I shooked hands with him but then he pulled me closer and hugged. My whole body freezes and speechless! From the way he hugged me, I know that he did not want to let go and so do I. I wished we could stay like this forever but time is so cruel! All the way back to my kampung, I said nothing but sat still...

Until this very day, I really longed to hear his voice and to be hugged by him again... IMY badly =(
